New Artega will have the option of both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variant will have a 1.5-liter engine with the Ciaz, which will provide a torque of 105 pcs and a torque of 138 nm. This engine in Siaz has been given with Suzuki's Mild-Hybrid Technology. It is being speculated that this technology can also be given to petrol variants of New Artiga. Like the first 1.3 liter engine in the diesel variant, Mild Hybrid Technology will come along. Its power is 89 PS and torque is 200 nm. Both engines will get 5-speed manual gearbox standard, while there will also be a choice of 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox in the petrol variant.
More features may be provided in New Ertiga than the current model. In all variants of existing Ertiga, the driver airbag standard has been given, while Passenger Airbags and ABS have been made optional from base variants. It is being speculated that these features can also be given standard in New Ertiga. Apart from these, features such as rear parking sensor and ISoffix child seat anchor can also be standard.
